The kissing the players thing is going to get old and look weird when you're not winning.

Wow, definitely a red flag for their offense getting worse each possession.

Herman doesn't give a frick and the team doesn't give a frick. They know he's gone.

If I'm a school looking for their next coach, that's a red flag. If they lose this game, there's a good chance he's out of the LSU HC race. He may even be out of the Texas HC race.

Lsu fans are blind to the fact that Herman is a joke. Some analyst mentioned his name on the radio and fans listened and started saying he's the man because they heard it. They know nothing about him or coaching. They even said him over jimbo. I dont want jimbo either but it is comical to think that Herman is better than a national championship coach.
No thanks on this clown

Are you high? Are you really suggesting that we should replace one of the most winningest coaches in LSU history with a guy who goes 1-3 against smu, Navy, UCF, and Tulsa?

Get the frick out of here, moron.

Is there a new intentional grounding rule I'm not aware of?

I thought if the QB was outside the pocket hr could throw it away out of bounds?

Are SEC refs calling this game?

Exactly. Our fans didn't know anything about him until someone else mentioned his name. His body of work is not great. People were quick to say Frank Wilson did not have enough HC experience at a major 5 program. Neither does Herman.

Not saying he wouldn't be successful, but if O finishes this season stronger that we have any of the past 5 years, then I want to make sure he is given a shot to implement the systems his OC would want and special teams coach would want.

Nothing about Herman has said "can't miss". Plus, we give O a shot an entire season as HC and still have plenty of really good coaches out there who will probably be ready to leave in 2 - 3 years like Chip, Frost, Fuentes, and even Fedora.

Put our offense with Les as the coach against the 78th, 79th and 89th ranked defenses and he likely wins. Our defense is ranked 7th in scoring defense. That means we get

That's the defenses we faced under O with Steve Ensminger.
Give Herman our defense and this talent, we would be golden.

How would you know about anyone unless someone else mentioned his name?

Because I haven't seen 1 fan mention WHY he would be great here and he is qualified. People just mention his name because someone else mentioned it.

Do you give us 5 things about him that prove why he should be here? Where does he stack up against other recruiters since he's been coaching? What is his style of play on defense? Is he good at running an entire program and keep them infraction free? Has he ever had any issues with recruiting?

Nobody offers any information about him, just spew his name. He could be the guy, but he could very well not be the. Stop acting like O hasn't done everything right so far. He could have very well turned out like John L. Smith. Nightmare.

I personally have posted his qualifications as have MANY other people

1.) proven coordinator
2.) proven game planner
3.) proven program builder
4.) proven recruiter
5.) proven motivator

That was easy as frick

He's 20-3 as a head coach. Game planned against Saban in the NC game with a 3rd string QB, beat stoops like a red headed stepchild, and has brought Houston to the national conversation and to new heights in recruiting.

Don't forget he was so good that Saban dialed him up to ask how he shredded his defense.

Also he's proven that he can take an inferior team and win and at some points dominate.

The guy has a good eye for talent. He recruited the current Buckeye Qb and for the first time ever got 5 star recruit to go to a school outside the P5.

What program did he build?

And, there are several coaches who have those other qualities.

Not knocking him as an option at all, but obsession at this point in his career is a bit much. First and foremost, we won't hear about any recruiting violations until he is gone and close to it. He may be clean, he may not. Too many unknowns to call him a slam dunk.
