Is this guy really an option? If Les brings him in he really must be stupid. Ole Miss' def. isn't much better than ours.

the fact that its better than ours at all is staggering, considering the disparity in talent, but im done trying to figure out why people are so against Nix. The only argument I ever see is that SS apparently didnt believe in his playcalling. So the F what? If Spurrier was infallible Scar wouldnt be 15-17 in the SEC. Jim Fassel took the playcalling away from Sean Payton with the Giants. I guess that means Payton doesnt know shite about offense.
Ole Miss went from 70 to 12 in total D in just one year, Nixs first. They top LSU in every category, against the same teams, with far inferior talent.
At Scar his D gave up 17 and 24 points a game in his two years. LSU gave up 13 and 20 in the same two years. Considering we have way more talent on D than Scar, Id say thats about a wash.
Add to this hes only 36 and played linebacker in college, a position weve sucked at for as long as I can remember, and this would seem to be a home run. None of this matters now as VK seems to be the choice, but people acting like Nix is laughable is fricking retarded. He would have been a fantastic choice for us.

don't kid yourselves...Ole Miss has plenty of talent, especially at D-line. Orgeron was an EXCELLENT recruiter.

But, i am sure after a 8-4 year, yall losing top talent on both lines, yall are going to win the SEC next year. Anything less than that is a failure in my eyes for OM next year.

Since we are playing the numbers game... You could also say you won your first game against us IN SEVEN (7) that is right SEVEN years. Just saying. i applaud Ole Miss on their season, but to think an 8-4 season gives you some sort of entitlement is just ludicrous. Raise your standards if beating LSU on their worst year this decades and going 8-4 is a major accomplishment.

Exactly. Congrats on a good season that was a total turnaround from last year. But to take it to the delusional level like they have is just reinstills why i hate their fans. Most delusional in the SEC. Listened to jackson radio the other day and OM fan called in (probably Sleber), and predicted to win the SEC next year. Laughable.
Just got done with the worst 5 or 6 years in the history of their program. have one good year, and they should win the SEC. Delusion at its finest.

look at his defense when he was at usm..num of players in nfl and total def. Remember he is at ole miss not usc. give him better talent and facailities and there will be no problem.
