You've got to be kidding me if you really think Tyrone Nix is a good Def. Coordinator. You got lucky aganist UF and if LSU had a Def. Coordinator we'd have beaten ya'll by 2 TD's. Get your head out your arse. Ole Miss is a 2nd tier SEC team....we're not is the 60's anymore! Your team is 2 loses away from being barely bowl eligable like us!

Beat us by 2 TD's??? You realize you scored 13 points on us right? I don't think your D-Coordinators had anything to do with that. Your defense isn't the only thing that struggled in that game.

The only argument I ever see is that SS apparently didnt believe in his playcalling. So the F what? If Spurrier was infallible Scar wouldnt be 15-17 in the SEC. Jim Fassel took the playcalling away from Sean Payton with the Giants. I guess that means Payton doesnt know shite about offense.

Maybe he got tired of Payton calling end arounds on 3rd and 1

Let Miles pick his man. YOu maggots just need to live with it. There isn't a DC on this earth that is worth a frick according to the idiots on this board.

That is what everyone said last year when he was waiting forever to pick a Def. Coordinator. Everyone said give Les time, he will do the right thing. Yep, he sure did. Look at the waiting got us this year. He made a stupid arse move and that is why we had such a shitty season. Now my confidence in him is very low. That is why I am bitching about Tyrone Nix being on the possibility list. Les needs to get his shite together and hire a top name defensive coordinator. Now is not the time to take a chance on an up and coming guy. Hire someone with proven experience. Tyrone Nix is definitely not the guy!

P.S. All you Ole Miss fans keep living in la la land. Your shitty football team hasn't won an SEC Title since 1963, so until they do STFU!!!! WAY TO GO ON THE 8-4 season. Maybe you guys can win 9 or 10 next year....yea right!!!

Listened to jackson radio the other day and OM fan called in (probably Sleber), and predicted to win the SEC next year. Laughable.

Why is it so laughable??? I mean, I am not saying it is going to happen. But seriously I remember a time when LSU wasn't doing so hot either, and now as ya'll like to point out, you won 2 National Championships. I just don't think you should ever count out any team cause anything can happen from year to year and week to week. Who honeslty thought we would be the only team to beat Florida thus far, and Alabama would be undefeated at this time last year. I am sure you did not think you would be sitting at 7-5 as the defending National Champions.

Seconly Nix is a good coach and I am not saying it because he is on the Ole Miss staff. I don't see him leaving though, or Nutt for that matter. When he signed his contract extention and raise he got them for the assistants also.

And for the guy that said our defense isn't good and that Florida beat themselves, explain to me then how we only gave up 30ish rushing yards against LSU and negative rushing yards against State????

TMoney you made a great observation. Sometimes the issue on this board evolves from simple thinking if you know what I mean? If you were to change Tyrone Nix name to Tommy Tubberville with the success he had at USM and OLE Miss this year, he would be considered the guy.

Hopefully, when coach Miles' makes his executive decision for the DC, it will be someone who is very sound fundamentally and has a hands-on approach to coaching the players, and has schemes for the modern day "SPREAD OFFENSIVES!" That is the future now.
