The rumors we know of here are from anonymous posters.
The rumors in the media could actually be coming from reading this very board.
Nothing changed tonight except the anti-O crowd was proven right.
We don't really know anything other than someone will be a new coach at LSU next season.

The circle is very small. Even most or all of the TAF board of directors are not in the circle . It's that small.

I know some well placed people that know nothing or that are lying. We don't know anything here. For all we know, DALSU/Random is a 15 year old or a Sexton employee...likely closer to the former.

Somebody could know that a certain coach has been offered. What is never known is if that coach will truly put his signature on it, regardless of what gets said.

Yep, we don't really have a clue. But I really enjoy all the fighting among those who have a favorite. It's actually more entertaining than the Political Board during an election year.

Long time friend of mine's dad who was the chairman of the TAF board of directors in the early 2000's and still a board of director member said her dad doesn't even know. I never questioned her because her dad is one of the top LSU boosters.

We know that Joe Aleva said, today, that he is not in a hurry to close this deal. Which suggests that either it isn't done, or that certain "live" candidates, as pro coaches or prospective conference champions poised to play for a title, are expected to compete beyond the end of the regular season.

I have a friend who is a huge State fan.
He said he heard that the LSU job was a dream job for Hugh Freeze. Naturally, I told him he was full of shite.
I just know you have a lot of OM friends in high places. Did Freeze really want the LSU job.
Now, I don't want Freeze or anything. I just wanted to get your opinion or if you had ever heard that.
My buddy made it sound like Beaver boy would crawl on his face through broken glass.

No. Freeze has stated that the OM job is his dream job. I don't think LSU would go after him for the NCAA reasons. I have a friend that used to coach at LSU that claims his reputation is pretty toxic around the league...hence him never being on anyone's coaching list despite his successes.
