We weren't winning more than 6 games next year no matter who the coach is. Part of the reason why Dana got out of town. In 2 or 3 years we'll see what Neal can do though. I'm definitely more optimistic now than I was with Dana.

I'd pump the brakes on WVU being in the top 15 next season. Plenty of question marks.

QB is the only real big one

In two years we should hopefully be back in the mix at the top of the conference

The RBs will be best in the conference next year as a unit. The defense and o line should be better, just need to get a serviceable QB and we can def win 8-9 games.

They will be behind the OU backs, but they'll still be good.

My kid goes to Troy and they are heartbroken over losing Neal Brown.

They knew he wouldn’t stay forever but they love him and what he’s done down there has been amazing.

And he did it the right way. He not only stayed to tell the team, he went to their basketball game last night and spoke to the students and fans to thank them and tell them goodbye and that he owes everything to the university.

He’s a class dude. Whoever they hire has mighty big shoes to fill.

WVU got a great coach.

He will have WV in the top 15 next year and consistent top 10 finishes for years to come.

I agree it's a good hire, but WV is extremely hard to recruit to. He'll likely have them hovering around 20-25 most years.

Why waste all that time and effort hiring him away from Troy.

Didn’t WVU have an under qualified DL coach on staff they could have promoted?
