How funny would it be if some tool caller had punked Krysan into thinking all of that bullshite was true?

I was not happy at all thinking Pelini was our guy for sure. At least there is hope he won't be coming.

Y'all need to keep in mind that Ott still swears to this day that Saban was about to board a plane and head to BR in '07 during the first Miles to UM fiasco. He's nothing but a bookie with a radio show that's been living off of his dad's name his entire life. Yet people take his word as gospel. If I need to know the latest lines I'll call Ott.

Saban in fact was in BR the week of the National championship, and did visit the campus.

He was in town for 'business' reasons, to check on his investments.

I have no doubt that he was fishing for the job if Miles had left.

Is anyone from this thread going to call up Krysan and inquire about this today?

Two hours til TK starts the crawfish dance. Ya think he might have a little nip or two before he goes on the air?

Landry says Pelini is on the list but might be the 3rd or 4th choice.

Landry is wont talk about it .. wont speculate.. why have a radio show.. acting like he is real connected but can't say.... dont understand the dynamics.... does this mean he does not trust Krysans source?

Because Landry understands what Krysan did can ruin your reputation as a sports media personality.

he's been wrong plenty of times .. but this time he was THE only media person in this market PERIOD making this claim ... there is a big difference between taking an educated guess on the air like "a few sources have told me that les miles will interview for the michigan job .. i think if it is offered to him, he will take it" and just flat out reporting it as fact like he did friday night saying "we have confirmed from sources that les miles has accepted the job at michigan and it will be announced within 48 hours .. LSU has already offered the job to Bo Pelini and he has accepted the job" along with a graphic ala ESPN bottom line at the base of your screeen ... there is a BIG difference between the two ... "i have been wrong before" works for A, not for B ..

landry is a respected NFL guy that needs to maintain good open lines of communications with all of the athletic departments and football programs in this region ... he can't afford to get tied up in this shite if it is indeed wrong .. he'll no longer be trusted possibly ..
