Sounds like Houston players are butt hurt about him leaving. Regardless of what anyone thinks of Coach O, Tom Herman will be a home run at Texas.

He's far from a home run. Houston was in good shape long before Herman for there. He has 18 returning starters so the team will improve I'm sure. But he is not guarantee

Was Herman really that close to a deal with LSU? Or was it leaked by Alleva to make it sound like they were pursuing other candidates other than Orgeron? I can't imagine that LSU offered much money if Herman only took 5mil at Texas. LSU could've easily have offered more than that. Seems like all smoke and mirrors. It feels like they wanted a bargain hire at 3.5 mil, which seems low for a top 5 job.
