I don’t think we were really pursuing him. Seems like that was all agent smoke to take the attention away from USC. Several people close to the program said that the Riley stuff had no legs and the only traction was on here really

That's what OU fans now think as well.

Agent floated out the LSU stuff, he in turn pretended to negotiate with OU on a new extension, etc, and it was all a ruse so that no one would know about USC.

He's been talking to USC since Helton was fired.

He told Caleb W's family last year that he would be at OU for his entire college career.

A week ago he told a recruit's mom that he wasn't leaving. Most assumed it was Malachi. Could have been bad info.

I'm probably wrong about them knowing. They decommitted with a quickness though (was inevitable). Still trying to piece shite together. It's 3:18 am CT and news is still being dumped from the fallout.
