3rd and Chavis pales in comparison to 3rd and Grantham. It's not so much the conversion rate against Grantham but rather the critical points of the game and usually pretty abnormal lengths (3rd and 10+ etc). Oh and he is a master at pre-snap confusion, only it's his players that are confused. They usually try to get in position about a second after the ball is snapped though.

See Mettenberger's 3rd and 20 conversion late in last year's LSU-UGA game.

He did hold LSU's offense to zero first downs in the first half of the SEC championship game. One of the few highlights of his career in Athens.

Grantham really does suck. Good X's and O's coach but horrible teacher...so many busted coverages in 3rd and long.
