I think it's mostly people from North Louisiana who are promoting their "own." I got a kick out of a thread on VolNation that linked quotes on here saying "man, I really wanted Dooley if Miles gets fired" or "he will own LSU starting next season." UT fans think every LSU had their heart set on Dooley being the next HC which is laughable.
Based on the descriptions from this board, he seems more cutout to be an AD. I think he applied for the wrong job.
