It's the only alternative I can see to giving Gonzales the job (a scenario which apparently has only gained merit).

FWIW I spoke to someone the other day who I think to be in the know and asked him directly about this and he was pretty tight lipped, and the only thing he really offered was that he felt at the end of the day Billy Gonzales would be named OC.

I grew up in Shreveport listening and watching fletch. Maybe not the coolest cat around but he's reliable. Imo if he's reporting this on air I'd say its pretty solid.
