Have anyone of you geniuses ever thought that Crowton's play calling is due the fact Jefferson can't execute the plays, which restricts the playbook. Hell he can't even run a proper option.
Seeing as JJ never learned how to run an option play throughout the course of an entire year, and that Crowton is the QB coach as well as the OC, and that Crowton still called the option with the knowledge that JJ was not good with option plays, whose fault is it really?

I didn't see any play calling problems with Flynn at QB.
I did. With so many great RBs that year matched with an exceptional o-line, why was Flynn throwing it 40 times a game vs Auburn, Bama, Kentucky (on a bad ankle no less), and why did Scott not run the ball more vs Kentucky? On 4th and 1, why did we run a fake option throwback pass behind the line of scrimmage? We had stupid playcalls even then, but the talent of players like Flynn, Hester, Williams, and Scott, it was less apparent. In 2008, why did Lee throw it 35 times vs Bama when we ran it fine? Why did Lee throw it so much vs La Tech this year? Crowton is a nice guy by all accounts, but his playcalling hasn't been as great as people originally said.

Bring in whoever you want, the offense will still suck with Jefferson at QB.

And you are a genius? Have you noticed that it's hard to have a good playbook when you DON'T TEACH YOUR QB TO LOOK TO MORE THAN ONE READ!!!!
Jefferson telegraphed EVERY single pass this whole season. I never saw him go to his 2nd or 3rd option. Lee was the EXACT same way and you saw that with the number of pick 6's he threw. If Crowton is a QB coach, he is a HORRIBLE one at that and I have no clue why any team (Chicago Bears) would want him to do that

wow guess that dumbass cant defend all that

I hate to be a conspiracy theorist, but I thought it was rather strange that we brought Gonzales in to coach wide receivers this late in the season. I heard that Meyer wouldn't give him the OC job at FL and that's why he left. Is it possible that he's already been promised the OC job at LSU if/when Crowton leaves? Hmmmmmmm......

OC in waiting....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Don't take it out on them, even they fired Crowton (from BYU).
<----this Mormon wants him fired yesterday.

Well there's one good thing if crowton stays:
more alcohol will be bought in baton rouge next season, helping to stimulate the economy.

The first time I see that option to the short side next season I will strangle with my bare hands the closest unfortunate person next to me.
The thought of Crowton running our offense another year makes me not even look forward to next season. I feel deflated and sad.
