So you think we should hire a guy with 1 year experience who was previously half responsible for your mediocrity over the past few years? Noted.

Correct. Took over a 4 win team and has done very well in his first season. Only losses were a 1 point loss @ Tulsa, a 10 point loss @ Boise, and a loss @ Oregon.

He's a better head coach than he was a coordinator as well. He was beloved in Aggieland. Definitely can win over the boosters at a big time program.

Serious question, what makes you think he is so good? I liked him at A&M and for real didn't think he was much the problem. I know he did well at Air Force, and coached y'all to victory in the car brakes Bowl last year. However, I am not convinced he is ready for tFlagship Captain's Chair. His defenses are a bit gimmicky for my taste, but I am open to convincing here.

I could see taking him over Stoops, and I am sure he is a fine coach. I hope Stoops is as well. Anyway, I just think I would rather let him prosper some more unless we really do strike way out on our first 10 offers or so...
