Now that is a team who probably wishes they had retained Pat Hill. He coined the phrase anybody, anytime, anywhere and meant it. They have sucked since. They thought they were great and fired him. Fresno apparently is no Boise State who wins no matter who their coach is.

He's not going straight back to an elite job until he wins somwhere as a HC first. Doing so at his alma mater makers a lot of sense tbh

There are plenty of P5 jobs that aren't elite.
For example, I could see him getting the job at Arizona or Arizona St if Rich Rod or Graham get canned this year or next.
