He has managed to wrangle away a few recruits, as has LSU from Alabama. In the grand scheme of things, Saban being at Bama has little effect on LSU. Watching Gumps freak the hell out, now that is worth a 500 page thread.

It's a story as long as it generates clicks and views for the media. That's why you still see the articles and comments regardless of the plausibility. Not much to do with this place.
