If Crowton can get himself to realize he has to adjust to the talent he would be good. I still will never understand his infatuation with going to the short side of the field. Maybe a psychologist could explain.

I think that was the most impressive performance I have seen by an LSU offense in my lifetime. I was euphoric after that game.

the short side has fewer defenders and gives the runner a better chance to find an opening because the defense doesn't have as much space to pursue. good option teams will run just as much to the short as the long side of the field...we don't need to be running the option to either side of the field.

KW touchdown was a short side option.

What the frick happened since then? we were so fricking good... I remember corso saying in the postgame that night that if the was a better team in college football than LSU, they deserved to be playing on Sunday.

Matt Flynn, Herman Johnson and Brett Helms left...

Not taking up for Crowton but our QB and both lines were much better.

Crowton's best game imo was the 2007 NCG. OSU had no idea what was coming. It was creative, deceptive, and brilliant.

all this hate for the option to the short side, and the greatest play in that game was an option to the short side of the field. maybe everything isnt crowton's fault.

throwing out the short side play as a bitch point pretty much indicates rantardanism...
