Thinking outside the box on coaching candidates

Seems like the same retread candidates get shuffled around each year or occasionally a top young coordinator with no experience who will likely be a huge risk for anyone taking a chance.

What if there was another way to think about hiring coaches?

Outside the box. Look at professional wrestling for example... I would take a hard look at a Jimmy Hart or Bobby the Brain Heenan type. These men were masters of psychology... They managed several stables of wrestlers with different styles and levels of ability and consistently got results. What is it gonna take for some of these ADs to think outside the box for once.
