I get it - you're butthurt that Joe didn't consult with you about the hire. And that hurts your feelings.

So, does a 3 star all-American cornerback like Morris Claiborne not count because on paper he was a 3 star?

Let me get this straight, genius. If O gets LSU to the playoffs 4 years straight, Alleva still made the wrong choice?

It would mean Alleva got lucky hiring a 10-25 coach that transformed himself into a world-beater. I really hope that happens. But the odds of finding a world-beater are very small even if you do everything right.

Agreed. But as fans there is not much else we can do. Besides writing a strongly worded letter to alleva. Mine has already been mailed, so now I just sit here and wait for medicrity.

Actually, I thought Alleva said he gave a list earlier of what he was looking for in a coach, and O was the only candidate that met them all. So-- he did exactly what you claim was needed for you to be fine.

Well he straight up lied to your face

When he started "the search" he said he wanted a bright offensive mind. He hired a d-line coach because in his words "it wouldnt be a biding war". Even though later he says it wasnt about the money.

He contradicts himself at every turn

Terrible comparison. I shouldn't even have to explain why this is so fricking awful

It would be a historic comeback story. That's how rare it is.
