Why would someone that has a vote on the board tell anyone except what he has told you. "Oh...by the way Miles already took the job at UM...but don't tell anyone." That's what makes your source and your ignorance the most asinine thing that I've heard.

is michigan currently interviewing other coaches?
i find it hard to believe that if there was any doubt about miles that they wouldnt be interviewing other coaches.

Don't you think if your "source" wanted this stuff on the internet, he would've posted it?
I can't help but wonder what it is you actually gain from screwing over a friend/source? The guy told you probably with the intent that you wouldn't go blabbing everything.
I've just never understood why people post "insider" info on the internet. Are they trying to make their cyber-life more popular than their real one? Do they need to feel important? It's not just shreve, half of the posters here do it. The real question is: why? What could you possibly gain?

Shreve, I'm with you...I've posted several threads on here trying to get people to calm down and be patient, but they don't listen. They all assume everything has been done. I'm looking forward to the end of all this.

Look, the information I gave is not earth-shattering or likely to make the news tonight (as if a deal was made with someone and they wanted to keep it quiet) It is really not anything other than what you have heard publicly for the last week, so I am not "screwing over" anyone. You need to get over yourself.

I am sure their is still some degree of uncertainty, but for people to speculate that nothing has been worked for potential replacements is pretty childish and assinine. That would really make LSU look bad if they were not prepared to deal with this.

That is exactly my point...You were given info that has no positive of negative effects on whether you post it or not. I'm not attacking you...you were given false information. There have been things going on behind closed doors and yes people have gotten this information in this digital age. It has gotten around quickly and I don't think that LSU is afraid of this info leaking. It has no ill effects to anything. Both LSU and UM want to look good publicly and there going to do their best to make it look like that everything was done correctly.

I agree with this overall, but people want to know what is going on and information is going to get out. It has always happened. Now, we just have internet message boards where people can post things anonymously with the same effect. It is quite natural, actually.
And, obviously, I have no inside information on anything. Central Alabama talk radio isn't helping me out much these days!

Shreve... no offense, but it's a done deal with Miles and Pelini... both are gone.
Fact from a buddy with the LSU Ath Dept... their deals are signed, sealed and delivered.
Miles will announce he is the new head coach at Michigan and Pelini will announce he is the new head coach at Nebraska. This is not speculation, but fact my friend.
My only question is what the hell is Nebraska thinking?

The Pelini thing was suppose to be a done deal on Tuesday. It doesnt look like to me that Nebraska is a done thing yet
