Maybe we can get the DC from Pittsburgh - they were unstoppable last night.

Saban will have zero credibility. He professes his love for LSU, then goes to Miami. I never faulted him for that. But then came the lies in Miami and his professed love and being so happy to be at Alabama. So, what, one bad season and he's ready to bolt back to LSU. What, he can't take the heat in 'Bama land after ULM
I bet if LSU was looking for a coach a year ago, we would have gotten him back. So, no, I don't think it's because of his loss to ULM this year.

This is the biggest joke I've ever heard. For anyone who actually believes this is even crossed the minds of the LSU decision makers, or Saban for that matter, I have some ocean front property I want to sell you - and I have a bridge I can throw in as well. When has there ever been a case where such a high profile coach did such a thing? Even if Saban wanted to come back to LSU he has to know he'd be ridiculed to no end by the media and college football world for making such a move. The guy would lose any credibility that he has remaining and would be seen as a complete joke!!!! Then most of all why in the hell would LSU want Nick Saban back as HC? It would be like getting back with your wife after she left you for your worst enemy. If you're one of those individuals still in turmoil about Nick Saban you need to build and bridge and get over it because he's never, ever going to come back to LSU.
And you don't think it's crossed their minds? He didn't leave us to go straight to Bama. If he did, then of course I wouldn't want him back. Leaving from Miami, the Alabama position was the best one he could get at that time. He left us at a great point in our football program. He admitted his mistakes. Credibility, yeah I will give you that, he will probably lose some. But, if anything, he comes back, it will only show the rest of the country where his loyalty belongs. Regardless of the fact, he is a great recruiter.

A friend of mine works for the W Hotel in New Orleans and one of her friends is the Marketing Director for the Windsor Court in N.O. She told her that she had no idea who he was but one of her employees kept talking about Jack del Rio was at the hotel on Tuesday. They both are huge Tiger fans and graduated from LSU so that was the main convo around the hotel this week.
Maybe, just maybe, there are sending out Saban, Spurrier, and Del Rio look-a-likes throughout the state just to stir up some drama.
And so continues... Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives...
I have decided I am just going to sit back, relax and wait until I hear what is officially going on. In the past 3 days, I have heard 100 different scenarios of what is going, through their various "srouces." I admit, it is very entertaining, though. We shall see.

I will still be an LSU fan with NTP as coach. I will however mail my diploma to Lombardi and tell him "I am ashamed to hang it on my wall." And he can have it.
After that, I will move on. "Without a diploma on my wall."

I am so tired of hearing this and that about Saban. Yeah, it was hard when I heard him announce he was leaving for the NFL, and it stung a little bit more hearing he was going to Bama. But honestly, I would love to see him return. He saved us from the horror years of Dinardo, gave us a NC, and some great recruiting classes.
I don't think he would lose too much credibility. Sure if he left to go to another school, besides LSU, but if he returned, it would show everyone where he feels he belongs.
And as far as bad PR for LSU. Bad PR is PR - either way our school is still getting attention.

Well said! I truly believe if the position was open for HC @ LSU last year, Saban would have come back in a heartbeat. He is a great coach - and a great recruiter.
