The one thing this coaching search has proved to me is that I’m old

The people posting on this board clearly have an average in their 20’s

I just turned 30 if that counts for anything

You're just now figuring this out? You ARE old...

I’d ballpark it around late 20s- mid 30s, though it’s obviously bell-shaped. A lot of posters put their DOB in their username.

I'm 46 going on 20. Does that help any?

Weirdos do that

The one thing I am noticing is that most of the posters have not been in large business negotiations or deal making that involves the emotional life aspects of a “key player”.
Think about a topic that you are an expert on. Now take that topic and when you hear the news media or general public comments on this topic, you laugh inside at how juvenile the comments are on this topic which you are an expert. Now think about that when you hear reporting about topics which you are not a subject matter expert, know there are details that are not interesting or too complicated and are left out of the report.

I think I've seen a very similar quote from Michael Crichton (I think that's who it was). Makes sense. Why do we trust the media on other topics in which we're not experts, after we just laughed at a bad article on a topic we know closely.
