That is Saban's real legacy.
He had 1-2 hard games a year, lost half of them, and because of his blustering and recruiting backed his way into National Championship games where he beat teams that any of the top 5-6 SEC teams would have slaughtered.
The fact is, Saban won 2 SEC championships in 7 years - the same number as LSU and Auburn. The rest is simply manipulation and the "aura" that he created with recruits and the media.

Burnout? I see him working as hard as ever on the recruiting trail. If he leaves its for money and Austin. If he doesn't I don't see the burnout.

More in likely he is bored. Saban appears to be a builder and the Bama project is complete. Not much more to be accomplish, just a few more dollar bills.
Or he could go else where. Texas is interesting in that he can rebuild not only a school but an entire conference.
Edit Note: My opinion, he isn't going anywhere. I am ok with that.

With the new playoff coming up it'll be interesting to see if Saban can get a team ready to play two tough games back to back with no layoff.
