The last 3 LSU coaches have won a national championship. 2 of them were idiots.

Why is is so hard to pull a huge name coach to LSU when the program has made it clear you will win a national championship here. Instead the hot names use LSU as leverage for their real destination.

orgeron won a title because he struck gold in the transfer portal, in getting not only an elite QB but one that stayed multiple years. Burrow had worse numbers than jake fromm in 2018. That's not an LSu thing, it's a joe burrow thing.
miles won a title because he had the more luck than auburn could even imagine having, by entering the final weekend of the year ranked 7th and both #1 AND #2 losing and the pollsters deciding to shoot them up to #2.
Saban was legit and was simply great and beat everyone with having superior coaching.
LSU isn't like a mythical fountain of youth type of thing for some new ponce de leon to come strike it rich.
