The committee may leave them out if lane leaves after the egg bowl.

Ole Miss can fire him and pay his buyout 36.6 million or wait a week let Lane quit and he pays OM 4 million.

Ole Miss isn’t going to fire him. This is multiple times now he’s flirted with leaving. Ole Miss has no leverage.

Thank you. People ask what has he done. What has anyone done?

I know that he has often had great QB play and we know what LSU does with great QB play.

Hey dipshit, he won through the Big 12 without Texas and OU in it. Then lost to Texas. I’m all for Dilly, but don’t act like his resume gets close to Lane’s at this point. Use that lil noggin a bit

Point is just that it should not be difficult to imagine the motivation for him to coach the game from Ole Miss’ POV.

They’re not going to throw their hands up, say frick it, and stop trying the last week of the season, while ranked in the top 10 because the playoff committee “might” do something.

Name a coach that’s available and more proven in the NIL era. Not to mention we know he can win in the SEC.

In 5 years he has 50 wins at Ole Miss and has managed to acquire enough talent at Ole Miss to make them nationally competitive. Some of you have really short memories and forget that Ole Miss didn’t make Kiffin, he’s made Ole Miss. Ole Miss is 1 upset away in the Iron bowl from making an SECCG… that doesn’t happen there

Patience is key, and silence is golden.

It’s like everyone forgot what happened the last time Herman was announced prematurely.

It’s pirate king. He still wants Orgeron to be the HC

We can revisit this thread in a week when yall are melting down after he wins the egg bowl and signs the extension with ole miss. Every insider on this says his mind changes from day to day like a 17 year old HS recruit. He could easily love LSU today and sign with Ole Miss next Saturday. He's extremely emotionally immature.

As I have said from the beginning, putting all your eggs in the Kiffin basket is going to bite you, the question is just when. Even if we get him, unless there's strong buyout language, I have no doubt he would leave for Bama or Texas if they came calling.

You've had some good takes. You've had some bad takes.

"I have no doubt Kiffin would leave LSU for…” Texas!? One of your worst ever lol.

When's the last time a coach left LSU for another college job? Texas is like UF — should be a good job but everyone knows it isn’t.

Do you think Ole Miss to LSU is a lateral move?

I’m not pocket watching LSU. If our side is willing to sign, then I assume it’s not a problem.

The one constant that persisted into the NIL era is the schools that are willing to invest the most will stay at the top of the pack.

That’s funny because all of the people that dictate what he will be worth seem to think otherwise
What's even funnier is those same guys thought BK was worth what he got paid too.
