I saw a post on this earlier and just blew it off then I spoke with a friend of mine who's a big Cowboys fan. He said there are rumblings that Jerry Jones is gonna throw 11-12 mil + full control at Saban. He's a perfectionist and has proven to try to right his wrongs. Will he try to prove he can be successful in the NFL, I don't know, but 11-12 million is a lot of dough. We all know that waving money in front of Nickys face is like opening a box of Krispy Kremes in front of Charlie Weis. Also, I think he would've been successful as an NFL HC had he not gone to the worst organization(at the time). It took a guru like Parcells to correct that problem.

not going to happen so don't worry about it. Jerry Jones would never give full control. He didn't give it to Parcells who is proven in the NFL so why would he give to Saban who failed in the NFL.

On the other hand...

Jerry Jones is over-extended financially with the new stadium and cannot afford to hire anyone else. Jerry Jones has already publicly stated he is keeping the coaching staff he's got!

I'm suprised by it, but Jones said today that Phillips is staying as head coach.

I can see Little Nicky's big head enjoying going back to the NFL with "America's Team" and the finest stadium in the league, but I think he's tired of the attitudes.

Google "Saban to Cowboys" and all you get is a thread on TD

It's wishful thinking from rantards

No way, this is all jimmy sexton trying to squeeze more money out of bama.

The n.f.l. doesn't want saban, he can want them all he wants.

Sexton and saban try to use this for money and recruiting. Why isn't the n.f.l. calling for the other teams coach. They aren't calling for him, sexton putting rumors to get money out of bama.

like brady and n.c. state. no one wanted brady but he wanted us to think it to get more money. N.F.L. doesn't want saban, he burned his bridge and there is no going back.

Saban is a great college coach, but he failed in the NFL by any measure. It just wasn't for him.

Over extended? He built a billion dollar stadium you think spending an extra 6-8 million is going to matter to him?

Nobody says he was fired. He did, however, fail. Just like Spurrier, who also didn't get fired.

+ full control

Saban would have to buy the Cowboys to accomplish this.

I don't know any other way to say it, Nick Saban is not going to be the coach at Dallas.

I think this is a done deal in 10 days. Saban's wife likes to shop and Dallas is a shoppers dream.

Maybe a 1 in 10,000 chance. But hey, that's a chance nonetheless.

Would love to see the meltdown.

This is dumb.

Saban is a control freak, just like Jerry Jones. It would be like mixing oil & water
