The point here isn’t to convince anyone of anything. But we have a lot of time to kill before an announcement so let’s dig in. Hiring a coach is as much art as science, there’s no blueprint.

Man you really have me thinking you might be Mel Tucker... You posted an essay about him here and you say he isnt your first choice. You only have 36 posts?? Ok...
But anyway... promotion... he too lateral positions in alot of instances. He also has not been anywhere very long... I know you think in your mind that is a good thing... It is not. His defenses have not been the greatest. But I think this is all a moot point... He legitimately might lose the rest of his games. He is the head coach of Michigan State. Their offense sucks arse dude....
But regardless... If LSU hires him we really have sunk to new depths... It is far worse than we thought. It is like hiring Napier. LSU is better than that and you as a fan should want better than that. Tucker is not the best we can get. Sorry.

Having a long resume doesn't make him qualified to be the Head Coach at LSU. If we are going for a candidate with this level of experience give me Aranda. He knows the modern day culture of LSU.
