-Has coached under offensive guru's: Mike Shanahan(WR Coach, 2008), Brian Billick (QB/WR 2004-2007), and Steve Spurrier (GA 1999-2000).

-Has SEC roots. Florida 98' grad.

-Has backround specifically coaching QBs at both the NFL and college level. Josh Rosen has never been more efficient as he was this year under Fisch. Jake Ruddock (Mich) enjoyed his best season as a QB under Fisch. Stephen Morris (MIA) as well.

-Former NFL play caller (JAX OC 2013-2014)

After signing on to be UCLA's OC in 2017: Adaptability. Multiple.

quote:

"The first thing we're going to do is evaluate all the players and make the offense best suited for the personnel and the talent that has been recruited to UCLA over the last four years," Fisch said. "We are a multiple offense."

Resume'

Gainesville (FL) PKY (DC) (1997)
New Jersey Red Dogs (WR/QC) (1998)
Florida (GA) (1999–2000)
Houston Texans (DQC) (2001–2003)
Baltimore Ravens (AQB/AWR) (2004–2007)
Denver Broncos (WR) (2008)
Minnesota (OC/QB) (2009)
Seattle Seahawks (QB) (2010)
Miami (FL) (OC/QB) (2011–2012)
Jacksonville Jaguars (OC) (2013–2014)
Michigan (QB/WR/PGC) (2015-2016)
UCLA (OC/QB/interim HC) (2017)

Not a great recruiter though.

No. I followed him at Miami, not impressed. LSU needs a drastic change.

This is basically verbatim what Canada said when he was hired. So.. O will hire him and then not let him do his job

really? cause both QBs improved under his watch

jacory harris went from a 54% passer to a 65% passer in 1 season under Fisch.

Morris had his best year under Fisch too in 2012.

2010 Seahawks means he coached for Carroll. Got a feeling this guy is going to need to recruit. We need a guy QBs will want to play for.

If O and Canada bumped heads, he and Fisch would blow each other’s head off. This guy is the most ornery coach you can find. Brock Huard says he’s a perfectionist, coaches his QBs like military cadets, constantly grilling them during meetings and practice

There’s is no way in hell Fisch would let O meddle in his offense, or his QBs

I liked Canada's offense.

I am saying to Coach O, it was foreign and gimmicky.

I dont think what i wrote was that hard to understand.

Did O even study Canada’s offense before hiring him? Then hints he wants to go to a USC style. Then is apparently trying to hire Briles. I’m a little concerned Les. We basically need to find the Aranda of offense.

After what happened with Canada, it’s hard to trust him here. If he thought the guy’s scheme was “gimmicky” then why hire him? He inherited Aranda, tho hiring a DC at LSU wil always be easier.

Who worth a damn will want to work for O and this administration? LSU is not the shiny jewel it once was. It won't be under these clowns.

Congrats to the new TE/OC promoted by the DL/HC
