It's Kiffin's job if he wants it

Kiffin would never leave Ole Miss for LSU

LSU would never hire Kiffin

Kiffin is one of the top candidates

Kiffin is not even being considered

Kiffin would be great at LSU

Kiffin would be horrible at LSU

Kiffin is immature

Kiffin has really grown up and matured over the years

I don't know of any candidate with such a wide-ranging opinion spectrum

Kiffin would be the best second best hire behind Riley.

If you weren't impressed by the way he called and controlled the game saturday then you are crazy. He is recruiting at a high level and his players love him. Matt Corral is the best CFB QB this year. I would have never thought that last year or the year before

Ole miss also bitched Slapped us on both lines. It shows that he knows how important having strong lines on both sides of the ball are. He turned this OM team into competitors in 2 years. That OM team was Charmin soft in 2019 and prior.

To me, he's virtually the same as Riley. If Kiffin were gifted an elite job like Oklahoma while they were already on top, he would be in a similar situation as Riley.

While I find it comical, I’m not sure you understand what “opinions “ are.

I don’t want to have to read nuance with people’s opinions of a coaching hire:

“What about Kiffin?”

‘We’ll, he could call an excellent offense. However, I think it might be the case that some could say that it’s possible that he may not exemplify the most grown up characteristics. While he may have overcome then I believe it could harm his chances to appropriately interview…..blah blah. ‘

Just say “ I think he’s too immature “ and move on.

Not sure what you are getting at here, but there are certainly degrees to opinions.

"I don't think Kiffin is a candidate"

and

"Kiffin is absolutely not a candidate"

Are different degrees of the same opinion.

Perhaps your point is these "opinions" are being dressed up, falsely, as "facts" and in that case you are probably right.

We've had 17 years of immature shite shows on the sideline.

It's time to grow up

He’s not recruiting at a high level, but other than that I agree

Perhaps you have me confused with someone else. I was against the Orgeron hire, vehemently.

Did I support him after he was hired? Sure, just as I will support whoever is hired this time.

But the process that led to Orgeron being hired was a travesty and I never supported it or defended it.

Do you know what a declarative sentence is and the “‘you’ is understood “?

I can say :

Kiffin is not getting hired.

I do not need the “I believe that..” part because, since I said it - it is obvious that it is MY belief.

If I wanted to project some inside knowledge, I’d need to say “my sources say….” Or “I had dinner with SW and HE said ….”

Otherwise, it is MY opinion and I need not say “this is my opinion “. It is obviously to taken as such

No, I’m talking about you defending his hiring process of assistants.

Im in this camp as well. Give me one of these:

Aranda
Napier
Franklin
Fickell
Stoops
Riley

I want a tactician. Preferably on the offensive side, but id be happy with Aranda. Especially if he could bring in Tom Herman as OC.

You will have to be more specific. I don't recall that specific conversation, but not saying it didn't happen.

But I'm also not sure why that is relevant to this thread.
