I would love to see Gruden, I know his wife played either Volleyball or Basketball at UT.
As a Tech faithful, I don't see them taking Sonny Dykes. I think we pay him about $650K, which anybody can pay more than us. But taking a Tech coach again, prolly not. I think Arkansas would be more likely for ole Sonny.
My bet is David Cutcliffe. He was a good coordinator, under Fat Phil and he has local ties to Knoxvegas.

I have lots of friends who live in Knox Vegas, and I keep telling him that Gruden is a risky hire, for all the reasons you mentioned. They need a proven college coach to rebuild the program.

If Gruden were to take the Arkansas job over the Tennessee job, I may be wanted for arson sometime in the near future.

Him and Jon Daly are buddies, sorry bro.

All we gotta do is make a run for some a Columbia's best and Daly won't know the difference between Knoxville and Fayett-nam.

It will not be Gruden...I mean for the love of God UT's last hire was Derrick fricking Dooley.
Just repeat that a few times.

Grude day what the grude is going on and I have heard it will be a grude day at the University of Arkansas which means no grude for Rocky Top. See how easy this is.

Who was the coach at Alabama before Nick Saban?

Tuberville, heck Neil Brown his OC runs everything Sonny Dykes runs. It's the same system! Tennessee needs someone solid to ride the ship. It's that simple.

Nick Saban was floundering as the coach of the Dolphins and new he could coach in college. Grunden is getting payed serious cash to commentate on football games with practically no stress. You think he's gonna give that up to come to UT or Arky? No way. Two different coaches with two totally different scenarios.

Yea, everybody should push the Gruden talk to the side it becomes counterproductive.
How would Tennessee feel about Malzan, Holgerson, or Kingsbury?
