Damn, they are losing everyone. It's no coincidence if you ask me. They want out of that sinking ship...

I wouldn't be surprised if Kiffin is canned next year..

I'm so glad. That program is a abomination of the SEC. Represents everything that is wrong with SEC Football.

Lane Kiffin is quickly proving that while Al Davis may be insane, he's not completely fricking batshit insane.

Keep in mind...Al Davis fired him for CAUSE.

Now I don't know if this ended up settled....i am sure it did.

BUT...Al Davis is not stupid and would not go there unless he had the goods. The guy was apparently a nutcase of an NFL head coach. When he was at USC he always worked WITH someone else didn't he (Sark?). I wonder if he was an in-name-only deal just to pay him more and have him recruit (which like him or not he appears to be a natural at...mostly because he relates well to HS kids...probably because he is similar in maturity).

Bottom line is how many guys put together this kind of staff in year one...have the rough year that they had...have the good years ahead of them...and has a bunch of them leave.

So far he has lost Wilson...looks to be losing Thompsen...and there have at least been reports of Coach O going back to USC.

News today of NCAA investigation of Hostesses "contacting recruits off campus".

Sounds silly. Apparently Hostesses went to SC game and held up signs saying "Come to Tenn" which can be considered off-campus contact....

Just another example.

You really think holding up signs was the only thing those girls did?

For someone who screamed foul during recruiting last year he is definitely having problems. Interesting he takes his daddy with him on recruiting trips. He's a douche and I hope he gets what he deserves.

LSU Freak

Brilliant post. Please share that with the SEC commish.
Maybe the SEC can act on this recruiting trollop issue before the NCAA fall asleep on it. I have no expectations of action in time to make those two guys who committed be released.

I dislike Kiffin as much as every other person on the planet, but:

Wilson was WR coach and is leaving to become RB coach and Recruiting Coordinator. He will probably have a greater responsibility role and it is no secret that he would have liked to have been at LSU for a while now.

Gran was RB coach and is leaving to become OC at Florida State. While Jimbo will definitely rule the offense there, this move could still be considered a step up in the coaching ranks.

The LB coach Thompson, if he should leave, would become DC at Louisville. Again, this arguably is a step up.

But I'm not saying that Kiffin being such a big prick did not influence their decisions.
