Jimmy Hyams? @JimmyHyams Following Following @JimmyHyams More Tennessee will soon announce the hiring of Purdue coach Jeff Brohm after going 6-6 this year. Brohm was 30-10 at Western Kentucky. Buyout is $5 million, drops to $4 million Dec 5. Still owes Purdue about $750k for leaving WKY.

Purdue isn't really used to these coaching changes....let's cut him some slack.

At the same time, this still could all fall apart.

This would be a shame, I love Brohm and what he's done with Purdue in his first year.

Tennessee's stupid arse fans are going to have him looking elsewhere before the 2020 season.

BMC, get your source back on the phone.

I'm sure that's true of a number of teams this coaching change season. Just the nature of the business now a days. Very few work out long term.

You may need a bigger bag, this could take awhile.

Talked via text. Had no updates.

Only 1 outlet said it was done, then others hopped on.

This is what happens in the age of the twitters...

My view....how could it be done when he's been on the road all morning in the car with his assistants? Even if you are bringing them with to your next stop, thats not business you do with others sitting there.

I keep seeing this reiterated but they were going to hire GS? Something doesn't add up.

Your answer is right above this, in the age of twitters, you can do all this business via text with your agent. I don't think the Vols are pulling this one off though either.

brohm doesn't work with an agent apparently, but like i said earlier tuberville got up and left in the middle of a recruit dinner to take the cincy job. so the "he's out recruiting" angle doesn't mean it's not possible.
