This is easily their best realistic choice

I mean who projects better 5 or 10 years down the road, Kiffy or Les?

Why not hire Les to stabilize it and go after a big name in 3 years?

Because you have a big name just sitting there at Florida Atlantic just ripe for the taking. Plus he's already familiar with the program. This time he doesn't have his wife nagging him to move out west. It's a no brainer to me.

Autocorrect's fault. I already fixed it. It's a pet peeve of mine too.

I honestly am not sure why you all keep addressing Tennessee giving advice on whom to hire. Is someone here able to make that choice? Will someone outside SECRANT be googling who to hire and stumble across one of the 20 threads here?

That's one of those things that sounds nice in theory but doesn't really work in practice. You have to make every hire as if you expect them to be there for a long time except in very specific circumstances like when your coach crashes a motorcycle revealing his personal and legal improprieties in the middle of April

Normally I'd agree but in Currie's case? Maybe.

Get on Twitter and Facebook and start demanding it. It apparently works in Knoxville.

I'd love seeing the drama with LK back in the SEC fold. Plus I'd like Tennessee to be good again and challenge Bama.

Not sure Lane would take the job after all this fumbling by the UT AD. Currie is a fricking dip shite for how he handled this thing.

Living here and listening to sports radio (that rivals tRant), Kiffin would be welcomed back with a fricking parade at this point.

More importantly, it would be a good move for an AD that's out of moves.
