This time of year you take what you with a grain if salt. But I remember hearing during Michigan's most recent flirtation with Les Miles that Gary Patterson let the LSU brass know that if Miles left they would only have to make one phone call.

Sorry Hawkshaw, everybody has their price and I mean everybody has their price. To think that someone is absolutely entrenched to a particular program is absolutely just not correct. Whether Gary Patterson leaves or not, I dont know but to think that he is so tied to TCU and wouldnt maybe jump ship is flat out incorrect.

I know for a fricking fact Patterson is VERY interested in the Arkansas job (not saying he is going to take it) but this is Longs number 1 target. I didn't believe in the Patterson rumors at all, until someone that is very connected to the U of Ark athletics told me this. He told me this a few days ago before bo's tweets today. So there is defiantly some smoke.

I have a few buddies that are somewhat involved in the program and they say the same thing. GP isnt leaving any time soon. Something major would have to happen within their conference or school for him to go anywhere.
