good to hear that about Quad.

As far as Freeze goes, i think it would be wonderful. The higher ups at LSU need to get over it. Alleva has a past(Duke), CEO has a past (Miami) and so does Ponamski.

Probly wouldn't take much research to find stuff on most of the BOS and F King.

keep us updated

Let me guess, Hugh is just human. A good Christian who made a bad mistake right? Keep sending your money to Swaggart and guys like that. It's your choice.

Exactly. That made me laugh. Some of the trolls are too obvious but reading ones like this make them all worth-while.

But there is not shot in hell that O would have him on board. O is so insecure and he knows he isn't qualified for the job he has. If Canada's arrogance rubbed O the wrong way, then him and Freeze would seriously butt heads.

You should really stop talking out of your arse, it’s a bad look

Thanks for the update and post Coach.

The allegations against Freeze, specifically the stuff with the escort phone calls, represents a serious lapse in judgment, behavior and arguably his character. Clearly, Freeze puts forth that he is a spiritual man and thus it is natural for him to ask for forgiveness.

Honest Question: His offensive acumen aside, from a character standpoint, how does
an executive in charge of a multi million dollar football operation justify his hiring given the severity of his recent transgressions that ultimately resulted in NCAA inquiry and sanctioning of his program? What assurances can you receive or confidence would you have in relying by upon his word that he has truly “learned his lesson.”

These are the thoughts I have in considering Freeze for any top tier OC position and just wanted your perspective given that you actually talked to the man.

Thanks.

IMO Hugh Freeze is a much easier sell in the current social climate.

Not Easy. But Easier than Baby Briles who seems to be off the table

Comfort for hire is legal in practically every country besides islamic countries or the USA. I don't give a crap what HF did in this regard.

If Freeze did come on board, and Orgeron keeps his hands off it would be a dynamite hire. Using a hurry up type offense with the talent already on the roster could really put up some points to go along with that good defense. Scary thought indeed.

And we'd have zero rushing game, just as Freeze always has. But it fits because we have the worst RB corps I've ever seen at LSU returning.

IDGAF if Freeze murdered a hooker and screwed the pope's dog, hire that MFer now.

You know, the fact that he used the "company" phone suggests to me that he was acting within the policy parameters he was given by the AD and boosters.

He was a good foot soldier, gave up nothing and no one, fell on his sword. But I have to believe he was acting on orders.

Absolutely superior hire to Emsminger and most everyone else out there. Elite hire, get it done.

That's good to hear, coach. Not much I could find for film on him online but from what I saw he's one heck of an athlete. I would love to see him in Baton Rouge but you just never know how it'll turn out. By the time his senior season is over, D1 schools will be beating down his door. Tell him to keep his head up, because somebody is going to really want him and they'll get a great baller.

Maybe, maybe not. However, if Freeze’s skills were so unique or his character not in question, I think he would have already landed on his feet given the significant number of coaching changes after the end of the season.
