Who do you think has been out for blood because Les can't win 14 games every year?

Would be interesting to know. Who are the big cheeses in the TAF and have they publicly stated support of Les Miles?

Well I'm a collegiate club member, but apparently my $10 a year contribution doesn't get me in the know

I know a few guys who are high on the list within TAF that are not big Miles supporters. They also are aware that when you win 11 games and finish in the Top 10 nobody is listening to them.

you can rest assured that TAF is squarely behind the idea of waiving the $1.25 million buyout if miles goes to michigan .. the top five guys in TAF have wanted him gone since oxford in 2009 ... but no one wanted to pony up his buyout, plus, how do you fire an 11-2 coach ? this situation is just what the doctor ordered for the TAF money people and they don't want this to slip through their hands ..

Thread.

Colonel Richard has NOT been known to be Les' biggest supporter.

Ragah,

Jordy just reported he's staying. Martink2 of Tigerba!t posted he's staying and working the payday from LSU(he's a huge TAF bigwig and more than reliable), also a BOS member I know thinks he's staying. LSU's Ath-Dept doesn't want to lose LM's staff, 11 win seasons, nor a HC with a BCS crown in his resume.

Miles worked a payday. LSU keeps it's BCS Title HC.

This is what I've heard. I'm surprised they didn't let him walk in all honesty. This was the perfect storm.

This is retarded on his part. Three years of 8 or 9 win seasons and they'll boot his arse. Hell, most people still want to boot him now.

The guy wins a Cotton Bowl and this board all of a sudden wants to keep him. It's a fricking joke when they wanted to lynch the mother fricker about 4 weeks earlier.

You and I both know this is one of those honeymoon phases by both parties, when LSU's AD and TAFers want to not have a Mich steal it's HC.

Trust me, if Saban or Petrino and the SEC run over LSU/LM in the coming years, the heat will be there, especially at the coming pay raise at hand.

The TAFers and BOSers, and powers-that-be, that were in either pro or contra camp, still have their stances/leanings.

But, the safe play is to keep the status quo as of now, in this somewhat lean market, and it's tough timing of storyline.

And with Saban, Chizik, Petrino, Mullen, etc..LSU's staff will sink or swim on it's own merit..it's brutal out there..there is nowhere to hide.

Which is why I hate LSU at the same time I love it. You can always claim the grass isn't greener but the MFer has been ran over like a train by this board all year. ALL frickING YEAR. And these people all of a sudden want to keep him. Another year of JJ and Crowton may be enough to pull my hair out and just adopt LA Tech as my home team. I can't take the bullshite anymore, especially from it's bipolar fans.
