If nor Herman or Jimbo, who do you prefer.
The answers were surprisingly Orgeron regardless of the fact that every post here was negative.
Did that poll give Alleva confidence to pull the trigger?

No, there was not a real effort to find a HC. We looked at one coach. The one the AD wanted... He pleased the boosters by looking half arse at Herman. No firm was used for a coaching search. And O really had the hearts of Louisiana folks... The poll was placed on Facebook as well. You basically had housewives being polled. It created more traffic for here which was smart for chicken. But, the poll itself wasn't a factor. The truth was Jimbo or nothing....

You're wrong. That's not up for debate. This site has more power than you're willing to admit. This is one of the largest populated sites in sports and it just so happens to be focused on LSU.
I'm not saying my original post happened is true, but it's worth discussing.

Not specifically TD, but public support for O played heavily into this, which is ridiculous in of itself.
Make the best hire for your team based on his own merits, not what the fans think. This was such a chicken shite way to go about hiring a coach.
