He had a ton of variables to consider including popular opinion of O. He received overwhelming support from past players, emails, and other avenues. This was a popularity contest ala Johnny Jones. If you don't think any of that had a say in him making a decision then your outside reality. He was obviously swayed by those things, because it sure was O's resume. So shut the frick up.
