Anyone remember when his name popped up back in the day when LSU had an opening? He just "resigned" from Colorado State, and I'm sure he'd love to come to Baton Rouge.

We need to at least hire a coach from a major conference. Curley screwed the small conference coaches' chances.

He has not been impressive at Colorado State the last few years. Back then, he was winning a lot more.

I do remember that. I also seem to remember he spurned LSU's preeliminary advances. That was back in the day when LSU wasn't such a great gig. Maybe pre-Dinardo?
