Yesh, nothiing but the best first 3-year record of any Aggie had FB coach in the history of the program, four straight bowl victories and two consecutive Top 10 recruiting classes.

Didn't y'all go 7-5 this year in regular season?

Aggies keep saying this but offer Nothing to support it. Was he contacted? Or his agent? Which teams contacted him and when? Three teams in three days? Unlikely. Post a link or something. Otherwise didn't happen. And if so was there actual interest or the infamous 'feelers' that teams out out to their top 20 candidates?

Yeah, Texas A&M is going to answer all those questions publicly so you will feel better.

The fear in this thread is strong.

Sumlin is a successful coach with a promising future. He's well educated, intelligent and can speak the English language, unlike our coach.

He can recruit and coach offense, and his defense just got a lot better last week.

He's got the same record as Miles over the past three years since A&M joined the SEC. And he did it while building a program as opposed to Miles who was running an established program.

As long as he continues on this path, NFL teams will contact him - whether possessing legitimate interest or just seeking to comply with the Rooney Rule.

Because of this fact, schools recruiting against Sumlin will continue to use the "be careful, he's going to leave" argument against him; thus, he is forced to put out these statements.

Miles doesn't put out such statements because no NFL franchise ever considers him and no other college programs recruit against LSU by suggesting Miles may leave.

Why does everyone want Sumlin? IMO he's been average at best. He's the 4th highest paid coach in CFB and he's never finished better than 3rd in his own division.

I left a message with the Saints front office this morning. Told them to not even bother calling me for any of their open positions. Didn't want them wasting their time.

Atlanta needs to make a "splash" hire. Please hire sumlin. Listen to how happy the Aggies are after 7-5 regular seasons and not winning shite with a heisman qb. Plus you have the one lsu fan in here slobbering all over him a few posts ago because he speaks English or something or another that he was rambling about.

I have found you the perfect hire Atlanta. Thank me later

The fact that you are excited about that is depressing.
