Ok tell me why Sumlin is decent

His teams always fall apart
He cannot control a locker room
He's a drunk

How much longer does Curry have?
I bet he regrets leaving KState now.

KSU is just sitting back laughing at us for hiring him

We(TN fans) can only hope at this point, unfortunately the Haslam's need their yes man in office and Currie fits that bill.

I never said he was a great coach.

But saying he has no ability at all is ridiculous. He's always fielded prolific offenses.

That fell apart after there was film on them.
His gameday decisions are horrible
His Defense is soft because they practice against a basketball offense. They cant stop a power run becasue they never see it in practice. He might do well in the big 12 or Pac 10 but not the SEC

With Manziel and Keemun yes, without not so much. We weren’t all that bad offensively last year with Knight at QB

His offense is entirely dependent on the OC. He doesn’t have a system and we had 4 OCs in 6 seasons at A&M. One of them (Kliff) was good and that was with Manziel

If he hadn't gotten hurt, y'all might have made a NY6 bowl last year.

I agree. That was the only year we had a clear identity offensively post Manziel. Tons of read option which played to Knight’s athleticism well. The other three seasons were a disaster overall offensively and we pivoted mid year on the offense in every one of them basically

Serious question: How can the NAACP investigate this?

You better hope Currie doesn't offer the job to a coach without a twitter account. Y'all will be fricked.

you’d be better off buying the Sumlin OC you liked most instead of Sumlin. He literally isn’t anything he is sold as.

He called plays 6 games in his career, he has no offensive identity, his recruiting was only marginally better than our average before him and we had the sec, new Kyle, and Jff to sell...

He will check out after year one until his contract year. He may or may not do something really dumb while drunk, we dodged a bullet there.

Sumlin would be a fantastic hire for Tenn. They really need to pull that trigger.

No it would not. Sumlin is NOT a good coach. He failed with 4/5 * players in his back yard. The TN job is harder. Frankly, Les would be a good hire because he is one SOB of a recruiter which is what TN needs the most -- Lots of good players.

You're working hard for Lester aren't ya!! Don't worry, I'm sure we'll get a no from Sumlin in due time and the search will move on and Les' name will eventually get called by our sh*thead AD
