In order for us to recruit top offensive talent, these two coaches need to go. Perhaps they know their x's and o's, but they do not develop players. In particular, the technique of the offensive line is terrible. Can we get Searrels to come back; is Blake Miller a good line coach? Perhaps, Ben Wilkerson needs to take over. Houston Nutt's line coach always seems to do a great job; is he available?

Only problem with your reasoning is that we have and continue to recruit great offensive talent. Have you seen the rankings of the lineman and Rb's that are coming in right now?

Be careful when talking about player development, I have been hammered for saying the same thing. Then all the LSU players from the last 5 yrs, that are in the NFL, are used to prove me wrong.

Thats because our players are as good as billed. They're just actually being taught something in the NFL

If a change is made at OC, let the new OC have input on who the new OL coach will be. The OL coach needs to know how to block according to the offensive scheme.
The only coach on O that I'm hell-bent on keeping is Wilson. Maybe Gonzalez.

We have one of the best recruiting classes in the country! There are a lot of things you can critisize our coaches about, but recruiting is not one of them.

, Ben Wilkerson needs to take over.

Because you were so impressed with what the line did this year that you want to get rid of the offensive line coach and keep the assistant?

Alot of people dont understand the importance of this! It would be best to let a new OC bring an OL coach with him or pick one out.

Letting the new OC select the new OL coach makes sense--as long as we're certain there will be a new OC. Since the offense has ranked so low the last two years & the OL has struggled, it's a no- brainer that both are needed.
