Well unless they schedule Hawaii for a road game and pick up that 13th game he really can't do worse. I don't think he is the right guy just because he has no head coaching experience yet. I think at this point you have to hope he is a players coach and cn do a great job recruiting. He is going to get tested earlu with LSU and USC in his first three games. Looking at his schedule next year 4-5 wins would be impressive. I hope he proves to be better there than I expect.

After the absolute f#@$*&g arse kicking he is going to get in his first game against LSU, he may come to regret his decision to take the job. On the other hand, he may do well once he recovers from that game.

I think he will do well there and will build UW back up again to respectability and field a consistent winner. The guy has spent many years under one of the best Head Coaches in College football. He is one of the brightest and best offensive minds and strategist in all of college football and has been a great recruiter for USC. I think he will do quiet well. He has a ton of connections on the West Coach which you better have if you want to recruit well and be successful at a school like Washington.

You'll judge if a coach is good or not based on his first game as a head coach at a football program that is shambles against one of the Top football programs in America the last 8 years?
