Steve Logan Should be our OC at LSU

He is currently the RB coach of the resurgent Tampa Bay Bucs offense, was the OC with Boston College during their two most successful seasons and ACC coastal champs, coached Matt Ryan for two years, and was the 10 year very accomplished HC at East Carolina. Will bring an NFL caliber pro style offense which is what we need.

Matt Ryan actually credits Logan for helping his draft stock. I don't think he would of been a first rounder with out him.

While I don't disagree with Logan being our OC. I will say I like Holgorsen better plus DH is also a pretty good QB coach as well.

I would argue that Logan is a better QB coach.
DH might be a better overall OC though. Not sure if his offensive philosophy would be in unison with the Miles offense though.

not so sure there. Dana will run, and I don't think Les is as averse to passing as some would have you believe.

Les likes to pass the ball. It just depends on if it's the spread or pro-style formations

It isn't a question of run or pass. It is the style.

Well I think we need a coach that can use all the talent we have to the fullest extent and be very succesful doing it. So 50/50 run pass would probably be the way we do that. Actually we would probably run more.

At OK State.
Here? The body of evidence suggests otherwise.

Actually at this point, we just need an OC that will be able to use any of the talent we have

Again, it isn't a question of number of runs vs number of passes. It is what type of offense you're calling those runs and passes out of.

I remember when his hiring was supposedly imminent last year.

Name me one team that has won a BCS Championship or an NFL SuperBowl(exception being Rams-Martz greatest show on grass) using a Junk-Holgerson- Leach style scheme. There is a reason the NFL - Reid, Belick,Cowher,Dungy go for more traditonal offenses is because Junk Ball can be one dimensional and beaten by great defenses.Logan should be our top target. I hate Petrino, but I love his pro style balanced scheme.

Krags was mostly mentioned, and I didn't hear much about Logan Les is a loyal guy, but I think he absolutely has come to the understanding that Crowton didn't deliver in QB, scheme, and overall offensive performance. Les will try to get Crowton a job -- I.e - ULL or other small university coacing job before his leaving is announced.
