Last year, when I was pulling for Texas to win, so Strong could keep his job, and Herman would be free to come our way, that had to be one of the most putrid uncreative offenses I've ever seen.
Power spread. Run draw up the middle, left and right. Throw a pass on a go route to the left or right.

Looked worse than a HS offense.

At Texas he averaged 31 points per and that was with a true freshman QB and a QB who ended up as a TE in the NFL. Texas problem was never the offense in 2016, but the fact that Vance Bedfords D couldnt stop anyone in the Big 12. I think Gilbert would be a good fit at LSU. Also he avg 38 points per game this season with a 5'9" DT QB.........

At Pitt, Canada avg'd 42 ppg, 82% redzone efficiency, and 2500 yds rushing and 2800 yds passing.

80% of the talk has been about briles.... I'm down with him as coordinator. But no reliable source has proven there has been one discussion between the two parties

I don't think LSU will get any OC who hasn't worked with O or hasn't been strongly recommended by someone who has previously worked with O. Just the facts of the matter.
