Herman wasn't ours. We never had him. So you can't follow Herman and think about what would have been.

The reasonable criticism is in hiring Orgeron rather than opening the search. There is no reason to make a move now due to timing. We made the move now because they are out of ideas.

Not very. It's unfortunate that Texas and LSU will be linked going forward. Texas has a much easier path to success because they don't play in the SEC. At LSU you essentially have to beat an NFL team every year just to win your division.

Herman will make Texas better because he's innovative and the talent pool is fertile but mostly because there are fewer challenges to winning in their conference.

His job is easier so I won't feel bad if he succeeds. He'll just get his dick stomped in the playoffs once they play some legit SEC competition.
