Charlie did say that you take the name off the resume, and people would be happy. He also said that the guy is currently coaching as a defensive coordinator, and seemed to indicate he was not a current SEC coach.
I have looked at Zook's resume. LINK It's not anything that blows you away, especially when you consider he hasn't been a defensive coordinator at any level since 2001 (for the Saints). That might be his only DC work. He's not a current DC either - he's special teams coach for the Packers. Good recruiter? Yes. But good defensive coordinator? Who knows?
So if not Zook, who else could it be?

Chizik was DC for the 2004 undefeated Auburn Tigers, and the 2005 undefeated Texas Longhorns.
