Speculation regarding LSU DC, Mike Elston?

Looking at the UM DL performance, I looked up Elston and where he had been. Turns out he and BK have been connected for a long, long time.
Any way that LSU hires him as DC? If not looks like a slam dunk DL replacement.
Is there precedent for a DL coach moving up to be DC at a major program like LSU?

This is what I suspect, and I presume it's already done verbally. The same as it seems that Harbaugh is going back to the NFL. The question is do we get the DC too?
