I don't have a source, im just reading the tea leaves from here and other places. The common thread is that LSU offered, jimbo agreed, FSU countered, and LSU has nothing to offer back, so now they're in a tailspin trying to figure out what to do.

That makes absolutely no sense. If we went after Fisher we didn't blow our wad on one offer. We had to have known FSU would counter and are just playing the game. You don't try and lure a coach already ma I ng 5 million from another top flight school with one shot and hope it goes well. Comeon, wise up.
