Some of you have unreasonable expectations

And that’s putting it mildly. That goes for the coaching search, the insiders who have posted here, and the AD. So many of you expect that the next coach will be Saban 2008 all over except here, with Belichick at DC and Sean Payton at OC. Get your heads out of your arses. The insiders had the right info and Woodward (not just him, OU too) got played by Lincoln Riley. Yet y’all skewer the insiders and Woodward? Get a grip on reality. Saban isn’t walking through that door, and there is no perfect candidate so temper your expectations and appreciate that Woodward had a big time coach in his sights (that played him and who had proven to be classless in how he handled his players when he left for USC) and is actually conducting a search unlike his predecessor. Appreciate that there are folks who are feeding this board info that they know. Just because this blew up in Woodward’s face doesn’t mean the info was inaccurate. Bottom line is, get reasonable about all of this and let’s see what plays out. If SW lands Rhule it’s a home run. If he lands Bill O’Brien or Mark Stoops then the revolt is warranted. Be patient and wait for the process to unfold.
