Let's throw some new names out there for coaches who could get a pay raise somewhere else.

Bill O'Brien Penn State 43 yrs old 8-4 no alliance
to PSU. Done a great job in a hard position.

Paul Rhodes Iowa State 45 yrs old. 24-26. Before the Auburn faithful start moaning about Chisik, yes you did have Newton but you still needed someone to realize let that kid play his way. Rhodes teams are competitive in a tough place.

Butch Jones Cincinnati 44 yrs old 49-27 very good coach in a conference that is on a death watch. I think he will be someone to watch for.

Doug Marronne Syracuse 48 yrs old 24-25. Basketball school that is hard to recruit for football. As a Missouri fan I would like to see him as our new coach if Pinkel steps down.

Mike MacIntyre San Jose State 47 yrs old 16-21. Has only had one good year (10-2) but who can win at San Jose State?? Maybe 2 years away if he can keep winning there.

There's been talk of them firing him. Not sure he gets a better job, maybe he gets out before the posse arrives.

Biggest jackass fanbase the country.

I hope they fire Marrone and regress even further.

Obrien has like a 9 million buyout, Rhodes is an Iowa boy and probably won't leave unless for a very big job.

I could be totally crazy but I think bill O'brian had to sign some sort of stipulations for leaving or not leaving penn st in order to get the job

I went with head coaches. Everyone has a shite fit when you say a OC or DC. They want a "proving" winner for their team.

I like Rocky Long but he is 62 and some schools would not consider him. I think that is wrong but it is the truth

The "O'Brian has contacted Auburn" rumor started a week or two ago, and we've said all along Rhodes would be a decent hire - since he's cleaned Chizik's mess up before.

Butch Jones has been mentioned as a candidate for both the Arkansas and Tennersee jobs, at least on here.

Aren't new names, they've both been tied to the Kentucky job at one point or another over the past few weeks.

Is that the only job they have been tied to? I have not heard of Jones being mentioned to any other position.
